GLASS-MAL

GLASS-MAL founded in 1998 by Teresa Malawska and Andrzej Malawski is a family business. The company is a result of privatization of one of the departments of International Glass Poland – part of English company Pilkington, the world famous glass manufacturer. In year 1998 Pilkington’s distribution system has been changed, what created an opportunity to found independent company on market formerly supplied by International Glass Poland. Because of that GLASS-MAL was already an active participant of the market and had necessary experience. In the initial phase the company has focused on the wholesale of all kinds of flat glass and double-glazing. With time the company began to expand its offer.

Until 2001 the company run retail and service, focusing on the sale and processing of flat glass and trade of all types of joinery including: carpentry wood, aluminum, steel and PVC, and also flame retardants in carpentry and burglary alarm systems. Modernization of PKO BP department in Nowy Sącz in cooperation with Chemobudowa Kraków was a turning point in company’s history.

The experience gained during the project allowed Us to establish contact and later cooperate with companies such as Skanska Exbud, Mitex, Cooling Towers Gliwice, PORR Austria and Instal Krakow. In 1998 the GLASS-MAL started with designing and assembling point-fixed mounted glass roofs. In 2001, developed the dimension series and started to produce glass roofing.
This system is still expanded with new elements that allow implementing a variety of architectural forms that are bold visions of architects and investors. Company’s own construction office realizes all types of technical projects carried out architectural elements in the SPINIG point-fixed glass mount system with a full range of static calculations.

Today GLASS-MAL is a group of cooperating companies consisting of GLASS-MAL, GLASS-MAL BIS, GLASS-MAL SYSTEM and GLASS -MAL PLUS. In 2008, the powder paint shop with the ability to chemically prepare surface of items up to 7m long has been launched. Aesthetics and high quality are distinguishing marks of our implementations and that’s why we obtained a significant position in the domestic market.
